Two patterns that I find success
with on the river are egg patterns and wooly buggers. I will often use a double
dropper with two eggs or one egg on top and a wooly bugger as the second fly on
the double dropper rig. This pattern is meant for the second fly at the bottom
of the rig. A simple and effective pattern the egg sucking leech. A wooly
bugger with an egg as the head of the fly. I hope you enjoy!

Hook: Mustad size 6 streamer
Thread: Black Ultra Thread size 70
Wire: Small gold ultra wire
Chenille: Small black
Marabou: Black
Hackle: Long black saddle hackle
Egg: Clown egg fly pattern (just
the pink used in this video)
